    Worship Arts Opportunities:

Bethany Grace Fellowship currently has two identical worship services (9 AM & 10:35 AM) in which we utilize both blended and contemporary music to lead a multigenerational church in worship.  We have opportunities for both vocalists and/or instrumentalists to be integrated onto our existing teams.  On a typical Sunday we utilize biblically sound worship songs from artists such as Hillsong, Elevation, Passion and other modern songs mixed with hymns arranged for a full band.    Our teams typically comprise acoustic drums, bass, electric guitar, keys and multiple vocalists subject to volunteer availability.   We utilize technology to enhance the worship experience and facilitate team preparation including click and guide tracks, personal in-ear monitors, enhancement tracks, planning center scheduling, Media Shout projection and a recently installed Digico / line array sound system.

Based on the candidate’s calling, experience and aptitude, we are looking to integrate an intern into a worship program to gain real-time experience of both participating in the creative process and leading the congregation in worship through music and song in a local church context. The director of worship ministries and our worship team leads will walk with you every step of the way providing valuable feedback and mentoring. Potential interns are encouraged to familiarize themselves with BGF worship (https://www.bethanygf.org/home/sermon-library) to help them discern if Bethany’s worship program is a good fit.

    Requirements

    • Potential interns will be vetted through the standard church auditioning process.
    •  Interns participate in regular worship services and church life.
    •  Worship team participants are expected to prepare in advance before a worship team rehearsal
    • Participate in a worship team: rehearsals are on either Wednesday or Thursday evenings and pre-service practice begins promptly at 7:45 AM on Sunday.
    • Provide your own transportation

    Advantages:

We know that being a college student can be challenging and you probably miss your home church.  Well, we can be your church family while you are at LBC!  Along with the valuable experience you will gain in ministry, you can also take advantage of these opportunities:

    •        Making friends throughout the congregation and especially in the worship ministry department
    •        Frequent invitations for a home cooked meal and to hang out with a family
    •        Prayer support
    •        Gas money to help with travel expenses
