front door ministry @ bethany

Our Cafe Staff, Ushers, Safety Team, Emergency Medical Team and Greeters all work together to help Bethany fulfil our vision of being a thriving church that imitates Christ. Our goal is to show the love of Christ to all who come to Bethany and treat each person as family, as we grow in Christ-centered hospitality.

We are always looking for people to volunteer as Greeters, Café Staff Substitutes, Ushers, Emergency Medical Team and Safety Team Members.

  • Greeter Team

The purpose of the greeter team is much more than passing out church bulletins!  It's warmly welcoming each person to the church building. Making each person who enters feel "seen".  It's answering questions, taking guests to the child check-in area or adult classroom areas.  If you are an outgoing person who enjoys meeting new people and helping them to integrate - this might be for you!  Click the link above and indicate Greeters and Al or Sandy Redcay will be in contact with you.

  • Usher Team

An usher is an important role. They are a secondary step in the greeting and security processes. They make sure the church doors are open, help people find seats in the auditorium, open and close the sanctuary doors, keep an eye on the giving boxes and assist with lighting and anything that is needed to keep the service running smoothly.  If this type of service role appeals to you.  Click the Usher link above and Drew Hoober will contact you to answer your questions.
